Erasmus Accreditation call launched: a new opportunity for adult learning and VET providers!
Building on the success of the Erasmus Charter in higher education, one of the ambitions of the new Programme will be to provide widely accessible mobility opportunities to learners, teachers, trainers and all other education staff at all levels of education. The aim is to build more inclusive, stronger and long lasting partnerships with schools, VET providers and adult education organizations.
Organizations that want to organise Erasmus mobility projects for their learners and staff on a regular basis between 2021 and 2027 are invited to participate in this new Call already now to get ready for next year.
Being accredited bring organizations many advantages:
- Stable funding: organizations can easily request funds for new mobility activities every year and do not need to write detailed plans and activities each time.
- An opportunity to grow and explore: organizations can try out a new type of activity, a new partner organization – all without the stress of writing another full application.
- The possibility to define their own strategy: the accreditation system lets organizations define their own goals and gives them the freedom to choose the speed at which they want to move.
- Investing into the future: with a stable access to funding, organizations can focus on their long-term goals and use the mobility activities to raise gradually the quality of learning and teaching to a new level.
An Erasmus accreditation call will be published every year and the evaluation and selection process will be managed by Erasmus National Agencies. The 2020 call deadline for submission is 29 October 2020.
Organisations currently holding a valid Erasmus+ VET Mobility Charter can transfer their accreditation to the future Programme by applying to the call. They will undergo a much lighter selection process.
Some organisations may prefer to gain first experience with the new programme independently from the accreditation process. As part of the general annual calls, the future Programme will still provide opportunities for such shorter projects.
